Pay your account

If you have the money to pay it, pay it to keep it from going to collections, which is going to hurt your score more than utilitzation. The truth is you are looking at a double-whammy on your score with a collection account and a maxed card. Why let something go into a collection status if you have the money to virtually pay it off? Makes no sense.
