Change reporting of a repayment agreement on mortgage
After a discharged bankruptcy 12-2008 a situation occurred that caused my first mortgage to become 30 days late. I contacted the mortgage and made payment arrangements (an additional 100 per month plus my regular payment) and was advised that once the agreement was completed the credit would report on time payments for the length of the agreement. It was paid as agreed, on time every month. I have not been able to get the mortgage company to correct the credit reports to reflect this status. It appears like I had a 30 days late for 8 months. It has been almost two years after the agreement completion and no satisfaction from the mortgage company. I do have documentation indicating the payment agreement and records showing payments. Any suggestions to increase credit score so that I can consolidate my fist and second mortgages. I have had no luck getting approved from two different lenders.
