Car loan and divorce
I have a car loan with credit acceptance back in 2012 . The car was repossessed in 2013 and I got divorced in 2015. in the divorce papers it says that my ex is responsible for the car loan through credit acceptance. I called the credit bureau recently to dispute it, and waited 30 days but it's still on my credit and was put under voluntary surrender and made my score drop 38 points. Now I wanna send them a letter along with a copy of the divorce papers . Is this a good idea or how would I go about it.
