Capital One Bank's hand in my pocket and won't let go.
I have a judgement against me by Capital One Bank since 2007. 2 other collections companies have tried to collect on this account, however, I have cancelled checks for ALL Capital One accounts that I ever had showing them as payoffs. The judgement in question was placed by Capital One Auto Finance, initially, however, the new collection agency is saying that this IS NOT an auto finance account, but a credit card account. I had to get an attorney, however, I am not getting any action from her either. They keep putting her off by saying they are waiting for an accounting from Capital One, however, there is still movement on the judgement case. I am frustrated and don't know what to do. I am not made of money, and the money I already shelled out for an attorney has resulted in nothing. Please can anyone point me in the right direction as to any agencies that MIGHT take the time and listen to my plight. This was originally a balance of $568 and has now mushroomed into a bill of approx $2200 NOT including the money I have shelled out for an attorney.
