Canceling a credit card
If you have multiple credit cards, and one in particular you never use, is it better to cancel it?

Generally, no, because it is assisting your credit history length, your average age of accounts, and your open credit lines.  As well as providing an additional buffer to your credit utilization.  Unless it has a crazy annual fee, I would not recommend canceling it.

I personally have 9 open credit cards and a personal line of credit, I have no plans to cancel any of them.  Keep in mind if the card goes unused for too long, the credit card agency may close it themselves, so if you do plan on keeping it, it wouldn't hurt to use it once every 3ish months.
