Cancel card if in nursing home?
My parents are in a nursing home and have a 0 balance on their credit card. The nursing home said to keep the card but not use it. We do not intend to use the card but can't we just cancel it rather than keeping it around? What is the best thing to do?

You can just keep it locked up someplace safe. If you have Power of Attorney, you can close the card.  Your choice and it's a judgement call.
