Can you pay more money to your bankruptcy 13 without any penalties?
We have 5 years and would like to know if we made extra payments would this be better if we finished and paid earlier? We owed mainly for IRS taxes and from what I understand they can stop you from going forward to access any loans, even for a home?

Check with trustee

When you filed under Chapter 13 (I had one 20 years ago) you were assigned a trustee to whom you made the payments.  Whenever you have any questions, ask him/her.

But, the fact a BK was filed will remain on your credit report for 10 years as a matter of public record and that cannot be changed.  Given that fact, you might want to continue as planned and put any extra money in some sort of savings towards that future house.
