Can someone raise their credit score by paying bills not in their name?
My live-in girlfriend wants to improve her credit score - can she do this simply by paying our household bills that are in my name, or do we need to cancel my accounts and open new ones in her name?

If the accounts not hers

There's no way for them to give her credit for the payment.

Aside from that, most household bills are not reported to credit bureaus anyway.

The only way for her to build credit is to have credit in her name and under her Social Security number.
