Can I improve my credit score with bills that I have in collection?
I have a lot of bills in collection like 2 credit cards, a phone bill, a bank account, and a ton of medical bills. All of the accounts except the medical bills are closed. I just got a good paying job and I will be able to pay off about $5,000 in debt within the next 6 months. However, I want to take the route that will help me improve my credit score. Should I just pay them off completely? Or pay so much monthly?
