Possibly, but interest rate may be higher than what you would pay with a better credit score.  You won't really know unless you go somewhere (i.e. your bank/credit union) and ask.  Of course, they will pull your credit which will be a small ding against your credit score.   However, if you decide to shop around, do it within the same 30 day period and those credit inquiries will only count against you once during that time (they let you shop around without penalties).  Make sure this is something you really, really need to do (a NEED versus a WANT) so that you don't hurt your credit by having too much debt.  Adding new debt affects your scores as well, it's a tricky thing.  To learn more, visit www.credit.about.com.  Best of luck!
