Can a bank account affect my babies credit score while she is a minor?
Will opening a savings account in my baby's name help her credit score by giving her a longer account history? Or can it negatively impact her credit score at all? Or will it not affect her score at all?

Saving account

It won't effect her credit score at all. An adult over the age of 18 will need to be on the account with her.

Bank accounts have nothing to do with credit reports. Only when a person is extended credit and the creditor reports to the credit bureaus does it affect the borrower's credit reports.
