Borrow on paid 2013 auto tto pay off collections
I am trying to get credit up to at least FHA standard to co-buy a home with my daughter. Have a co-sign on a $17000 Student loan that is currently in forbearance, she is in college till this Dec. Owe no loans or anything other than rent and utilities, except for Medical bills in Collection from mostly 2 - 3 years ago. TransUnion Score is 571. Own a 2013 car with Kelly value over $13000. Would it make sense to borrow on an auto loan to pay off $3000 in collection accts. and Medical bills I am currently paying?
