Best way to lower my DTI
I recently was not approved for a car loan through the credit union because my DTI is to high what is the best way to go about lowering this when increase in income is not an option.

Option 1).  Pay off what you owe.

Option 2)  Get a better paying job.

To lower DTI, pay off balances and close accounts affecting your DTI, or you could get your credit lines lowered to lower your monthly payment. I would go to other lenders if you can actually afford a car payment right now. Go to a dealership that advertises 100% approval, they will likely work with some lenient lenders, but the rates may not be the best, but they may not be terrible rates either.
