Find a good bankruptcy attorney.

I always recomend avoiding bankruptcy at all costs. It's expensive and often will cost several thousand dollars. So carefully consider your options first.

Good luck

Most bankruptcy attornies offer a free initial consultation and they usually recommend doing things to resolve your debts in a way that avoids bankruptcy altogether.

why would they do that? They know the bad effect a bankruptcy has on a persons credit score, and that too many people seek bankruptcy without knowing what alternatives are available.  Talk things over with an attorney skilled in bankruptcy law.
