bank wants to close a credit card account with 0 balance due to non use. Should I let them?.

You can choose to keep it active and thus retain whatever that card's credit limit is as part of your total.  Or you can take a small hit in your score by letting it go.  I had a Sears Mastercard that was about to go inactive (used it for the discount) and, even though we no longer have a Sears in our area, I renewed it just because of the credit.  The choice, of course, is yours.
