Bank of America account, advice needed
I have a litany of credit issues, mostly from 3 years ago when I became divorced. I've read and have a good plan for most of it. I have 3 credit accounts (1 BOA, bestbuy, and another - roughly 3,000 each) that are in collections. I have one, however, from Bank of America that has not gone to collections and I'm curious as to what I should do. It has a balance of 8,900 (of which I am in no position to pay fully). It was opened in April of 2006, last payment was February, 2011 and charged off in July of 2011. My goal is to raise my scores between 50-100 points over the course of the year. Should I make payments, try to get a deal, ignore, other? All help is greatly appreciated
