Bank is closing account because they're switching credit card companies
Will this affect my credit score? This is clearly not my fault.

It depends on a couple of things. If the credit limit stays the same or increases that will be good. If it decreases, bad. If they report it as a closed card, and a new account appears then your length of your account will drop affecting your score. If they simply change the name of the issuing bank (which is what they should do) then it should not impact your score at all.
