Aren't derogatory accounts dismissed through Chapter 7 bk supposed to be removed from your report?
I thought that once you filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and the debts were dismssed by the Court, that they were removed from your credit report, and just the bk derog would show. I s that true, or have i been misinformed?

All part of your credit history.

A bankruptcy and the related accounts do not just go away. It depends on what type of filing you did. Chater 7 , 11, 13 Etc.  They are part of your credit history and most of that info will stay on your report for a minimum of 7 years.  Just because you filed doesn't mean that it just goes away.  The debt may be discharged, but the info isn't.

Good luck
