Are 0% intro APR good to take when you're responsible in paying things off?
Is it a good idea to take advantage of 0% intro APR offers then close those credit cards after you paid them off when the offer period is over, if you know you will pay them off? This would entail opening new CC acct, then closing them after the intro period is over.

It puts a hard inquiry on your report, then increases your credit limits temporarily, then when you close the account it reduces your credit limits.

It's not worth it to me...Your mileage will vary.

Hi mdtaylorlrim, thank you for your insight. What do you think about the scenario where you don't close the account?

Also, are there other ways to get a 0% interest loan for 12 months or more?
