Applying for a credit card will build my credit?
It says on credit karma that I have limited credit and wanted to know if applying for a credit card will help build my credit?

The easy awnser is YES.  So long as the card you applied for is approved.  Keep in mind that wither you get the card or not, your credit will take an initial hit because of the hard inquiry on your credit.  within a few months it will rebound back to where was so long as you are responsible and make all payment in full by the due date.  Next thing to remember, (Although it could happen, because everyones credit is different) it takes years for good credit history to build up and start reflecting in the higher scores.
