Anyone have bad credit because of a significant other?
Just recently broke up and although I am personally responsible when it comes to debts, my ex abused me financially and now I have a few hundred dollars worth of debt to pay and very bad credit.

That can be one of the dangers of joint credit or having an authorized user. A party can leave the account holder with debt if it's not monitored. If your divorce has not been finalized, and you can prove your spouse ran up debt, you may be able to get a judgement where your spouse is held accountable.
