Age of Accounts factor
I would like to increase my number of accounts, to raise my score.... and not lower my average age of accounts below - Excellent. I have a number of retailer card accounts I closed 5-10 years ago. I can re-appy for them.. BUT, will the credit bureaus see the account as brand new, or as 5 or 10 years old ?

If you 'reopen' the accounts after closing them, it will be shown as a new account.  Most businesses do not re-open accounts that were previously closed.
