If an account was in good standing when it was closed, it will generally continue to be reported for up to 10 years. This is good since Average Age of Accounts (AAoA) is an important factor in the FICO score. If the trade line had any late payments in it, then the late payments will continue to be reported for up to 7 years, then they will get deleted and the trade line (now in good standing) will continue to report for the remainder of up to 10 years.

Hope this helps!
