Accounts in collection status
I was lied to by Verizon Wireless, thus being charged fees that I should not have been charged. While in the process of attempting to reach the Regional Supervisor (which never happened) I ended services with Verizon. The account went to an outside collections agency who informed me they do not report to the credit bureau. I set up three automatic payments to come from my checking account and five days later I see it on my credit report. Is this legal? What are my rights? My scores were on the way up and now have gone down.
