Who knows?  If you did enter such personal information as your social security number and address, then you should be getting a letter telling you why you were denied and which credit bureau they pulled your report from.  You can't get turned down without their having run your credit, and they need that personal information to do so.

Maybe it has nothing to do with your credit score. How's your debt to income ratio? Income? Down payment? All this gets factored into the decision.
