Different scoring models

They might have used a FICO auto score instead of the CK Vantagescore you see here. Different scoring models, even from the same source, will weigh different factors differently therefore affecting the score you see.

Your scores change daily

Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

Everyones scores change all the time, Every time you make a payment or charge something to a credit card your score will change.  The scores here on ck are generated once every 10 days or so using the vantage model.   There are over 300 scoring models in use across the financial spectrum so to speak.  The model your bank uses will be different from what you see on CK.  When the bank generates a score for you,  it is based on what is in your credit report that day.  It will also depend on what type of loan your are applying for since different factors are used to calculate eligability for the loan. A mortgage will do a much deeper look (i.e. 10-15 years of credit history) than a credit card (2 years history) So those scores will be totally different.

Its best to know what range your score is in and work to get it as high as possible.

Good luck
