4 inquiries, 1.5 years of history worth getting another inquiry to better credit in the long run ?
Would it be a good idea to open another credit card to add to number of accounts, add to my borrowing amount and positive history of repayment even though it will put me at 5 hard inquiries back to poor in that category but improve the rest ?

How many cards do you have? If you have less than 3, I would say you need another one, if you have 3 or more, you are probably covered for score building. Either way, one more inquiry isn't going to do that much damage.
