The hit should be minor at best... and they go away after two years anyway.

Hard Inquiries hurt scores, Lowering the "average age of accounts" also hurts scores. But, this is normal when getting new credit, not much you can do about it. Be sure to spend some time reading about credit, it is a great investment of your time as it will help you financially in the future.
