CK says my score is 821. Experian just dropped my score on CK from 820s down to 761. Why? Apparently the only thing I can see is 1-10 year old account was deleted from my history.
Mortgage loan officer put my fico at 757. Makes no sense. BoA says my FICO is 747. I'll take that to the bank not this garbage.

Enter Your Reply don't fell bad. my CK T/U and Experian scores were until a few days ago in the mid 820s. Experian just dropped to a 761 for no apparent reason. I just applied for a mortgage and the mortgage banker said my "real" FICO score is 747 not these 800 numbers. This is garbage in-garbage out numbers. Sleep tight and sound. This is not the real world here for some reason.
imo the scores you are seeing here is not the true fico score that is used. these scores are way off...i have no faith in any number posted on this website. sorry to disappoint you

A massive scam placed on the shoulders of otherwise responsible consumers. The 3 "bureaus" are control freaks.
This website reports a credit score (Vantage 3?) of in the low to mid-820s as reported by both TransUnion and Experian. After applying for a residential mortgage, the mortgage banker tells me in their score is 743 which they say is the true number. This is nothing more than teeter-totter fuzzy math let's screw with the consumer. So, which is it? Also noted is the bureaus say I have high credit card utilization which in fact it is below 5%. Basically, my wish within my lifetime is to see all 3 credit bureaus be forced to align with one true number and the consumer be able to contest anything put on their reports. Currently, they say you can file a complaint with the FCRA but that is of little to no use as the bureaus don't hardly believe anything you tell them, even with documentation. This whole credit scam makes me want to scream!
Your website states that my FICO score is in the 820s. When I applied for a mortgage recentlyw various mortgage brokers, lenders and they all tell me the real number is 743. If this is true, then why are the "bureau's" allowed to promote two sets of different numbers? Why? Because it allows third parties to promote credit cards etc to consumers for different needs thinking they are doing the right thing. Credit bureaus ALL need to be reined in they have as much control as the IRS it seems and more...:-(
BoA found that my c/c was compromised. They closed the account and issued new cards. All fine and good, right? Wrong! My credit report states "account closed by consumer" which everyone knows that deals with credit scores, that it hurts your credit score. It's all a bunch of c**p but they continually get away with murder. I called TransUnion about a discrepancy on an older account, sent them every piece of documentation in my behalf, they wrote me back saying the information was verified and would be "no change." WTF do these 3 bureaus have that we don't? Power...

you are soooooo right. they can post you dropped over dead but it's still up to you to jump through hoops and prove them wrong. usually you can't.
It only starts the clock over if you pay them even one cent toward the past due debt. You have to make a payment to start the clock. Negotiations shouldn't or doesn't count against you...
After submitting a "dispute" through the CK site and after 30 days of "an investigation" I find a ineligible notice posted back on CK that "new information was added to my credit report." It sure did, having a negative effect. Even though I submitted thorough documentation and previous legal agreements showing the validity of my disputing the reported information it still came back in the favor of the company (actually boa) that caused the problem(s) to begin with. Seems like transunion agreed with their cronies banks and didn't find validity in my dispute rendered. A nasty attorney who they will wish never called them has had to be hired to fix the mess. I'd like to see these 3 bureaus "reigned in" in the manner they all deserve.
