Great information. Thank you....remember to keep your credit cards at least at 30 percent of the available credit and pay a bit more than just your minimum every month. If your card limit is $200 don't charge more than around 50 bucks at a time. Banks like to see that you are NOT maxing out your credit limits and just making the minimum payments. I would go for a secured capital one card...49 dollar deposit and you're given a 200 dollar initial limit...after three months It will start showing on your credit report AND you can load money onto this card as well. Which is great. The more money they see being loaded the more likely they will increase your limits slowly...good stuff

Revolving credit will help.

Certified preowned is definitely the way to go. If you currently have an old beater car then maybe start out small. Get an affordable car with 1000 down and make your payments then trade it in once your score gets to that magic 620 number for auto loans. It doesn't matter if your payment is 100 dollars or 500 dollars. Revolving credit and on time payments will ensure a better credit score.
