Capital One® Platinum Credit Card

Helpful to 11 out of 13 people

Hello,
This card is not for someone like you Sir. This card is for people with poor/bad/limited credit working forward building credit back up. A year is good time to rebuild and after that this card should no longer be on your list of things to do. Dont close the card but stop using the card. Go on to cards like Quilsilver, AMEX, Chase, Credit Union CC etc. The fact that 7 years has passed and you are still applying for credit increases, like wtf is wrong with you? This card is high in APR and has 0 rewards or cash back, so why on gifs green earth are you still using this card. You should be well in the 700 since opening this card 7 years ago. I question your intent. Nobody with good credit is using a card for someone with poor/bad or limited credit. Stop using that card sir. Use it once every six months and charge no more than $50 but pay it back once the balance post usually within 72 hours to prevent the account from closing.

I have 4 credit cards since opening a platinum card. I have a,

Capital One Platinum $500 CL (opened last year)
AMEX Everyday card $10k limit (6 months old)
AMEX Blue Card $15k limit (6 months old)
Elantra credit union CC $10k limit (5 years old)AuthUser
Capital One ONE $5000k limit (6 months)
Best Buy CC $4000k limit (4 months)
Star Choice Credit Union $7000k (4 months)

So tell me why I would even be using my platinum card or even expecting or asking for couple of hundred dollars increases, it's a waste of my time and yours. Unless your score is low, get away from that card with no rewards or cash back

What? So how exactly are they suppose to except cash?? Do you fly it in on a drone or something. Your a idiot in such a rush to write a bad review that you didnt even reconize the problem is you and how dumb u are. Plus the tell u in the disclosure had you actually read it that any checks will take 7 -10 days to process and any charges you accrue during the waiting period you are responsible for even if your check is being processed. Why are you mad? If u bounced ur account idiot then you are responsible, u cant use money u dont have yet to be used as funds once it clears. U are such a idiot

Obviously u have a negative or your risky by looking at your credit which explains why u in the 600s. Had u been reliable you would have a 700 plus. So stop complaining and fix your credit. Delete the negative information, add tradelines and delete the hard inquiries and you will be in the 700s easily

With American Express having more than 30k puts you in that pile of Audits or they did a credit check on you a soft pull and seen u had to much availble credit extended to you. With everyone and CPN numbers they are worried. Just stop. There is never no reason to have 6 cards. I mean your just over extended yourself and caused this to yourself. I have a everyday card and a blue everyday card for 8 years now total CL 20k. I know better not to have over 30k. They increased me once and I called and asked for a decrease. I didnt want those problems like u.
