About Me: Approved for Chase Sapphire Reserve and American Express Gold early February. They both pull your Experian score.
Chase gave me a 16,700 Credit Limit.
Amex being a charge card has no limit, I just have to get approval for big purchases.
I planned on getting these cards since last year. I then paid my CC's in full each month, to mentally prepare me for high end card standards.

Here are my stats before applying for CSR and AMEX Gold:

TU 676

EQ 677

EX (660) (This is what they pull)

Utilization was at (0) Zero

100% payment history past 5 years, 98% payment history past 9 years.

I owe $33,000 to student loans which is in good standing. I paid $7,000 off of it in January 2019. Once reported by Jan 31 my credit score updated during the second week of February. Score went from 676 to 744 on both Transunion and Equafax.
From seeing this i plan on paying off my remaining 25k balance in the next 3-4 months. I plan on applying for the Amex Platinum Feb-March next year. And then the Black Card the year after. I project my FICO to be above 800 by end of summer 2019 due to paying off student loans.

Because they are trying to verify it’s you. I recently moved and my updated address did not match my credit report. So they had to ask questions. It’s not a big deal, it’s for your protection and theirs.
