I applied for the Cap One card because of reviews I read. I wasn't sure if I would get it but to my surprise I not only got one Platinum card but 2 with a $300 CL. This was last month April 2015. About 3 weeks later I got a letter in the mail reading that I will get a CLI of $500 in OCT 2015. Will update you on that but so so excited. I applied for the Quicksilver card but they sent me 2 Platinum cards instead. Not even questioning it........good to go. Thanks Cap One for another chance.

I just applied for this card and was approved for $300.00. TU cs 579 EQ cs 594. Will touch basis with you when I have more info. Thanks Cap One. So far so good.
I have a similar situation with student reporting a 90 and 120 day late on all three CB's that are 4 years old. I know for a fact that they were deferred. I have never faulted on my student loans. If I couldn't pay at that time I always had them deferred. That being said, Navient deleted these late payments off of Experian as well as Equifax but did not for TransUnion. As I am repairing my own credit I have emailed Navient and I received and email letting me know that disputes have to be done by mail. They gave me the information where to send the dispute. I sent a certified lettter to:
PO BOX 9500
Wilkes Barre, PA 18773-9500
They have 30 days to respond. I have not notified the Bureaus yet but will if I don't hear anything by February 17, 2017. I then will send the 2nd round to include the Bureaus. It can be a process but as long you have your documentation to back up your claim you can get them removed. DON'T GIVE UP
When you write to Bureaus send verification of your identity: copy of DL and utility bill, copy of the ceritified stamp sent to Navient showing that they received your letter and the letter itself, also state exactly what you are disputing along with the account number(s). Always always send certified. I hope this helps. Good Luck and Best Wishes.

@diannered I have recently found out that the inquiry may stay on your report for 2 years but will only affect your score for 1 year. Even though if you apply for credit the creditors will still see the inquiry but will not have any bearing on your score if it's 1 year old. I hope this helps.
Great questions I's like to know all of them also.
I mean really. This is ridiculous
WOW Lauriesc. This is unfortunate but of course you know that what they are saying here is that they wanted you pay the month you missed as well as the current month. I have an installment persona loan and in fact did miss a payment but I have been with this company for a while and they let me pay both months with a heck of a lot of interest for them not to show me as missed.
Dang 2 years of late payments my heart goes out to you to fix this. Maybe you can state your case with your creditor in person to a Senior Level staff and show your genuine side. The people love for you to kiss their butt. At times you just have to. Best Wishes!!!
Very good question. I went to the post office today and was told that the PO Box 2000 was not going to get to them. I have asked TransUnion 3x for the address they keep telling me the same thing. I did call the FTC and they gave me a number to the CPB which also looked up that address and agreed with the Post office. I was told that I could send my dispute information to them and they would get it to TransUnion which they then have 15 days to respond vs 30 days. Ridiculous. I pay for them monitor my credit what a rip off.....Sneaky
