Get current on all your past debt is the first step. If you don't know what you owe. Go to annualcreditreport.com. It is the government site and is free once per year. Once you are current stay current. Then get a secured credit card if you can. I hesitate on this recommendation since you are deploy and may have no actual use for it but it will help establish your credit history. If you just do those two things your score will improve over time.
This card is awesome. Yes the $65 annual fee sucks but I think most savvy travelers would consider this the best rewards credit card available.
I really like JetBlue. Unlike the other airline cards, this ones doesn't have all the gold and medallion points but it gets your free flights on JetBlue which is the important part. Also Amex has some of the best customer service.
After only 3 missed payments? I've had my Citi card for 12 years and never had 1 missed payment. Missed payments are the precursor to default.

It has its uses. If you don't have retirement funds, it is a viable option to help you with the later stages of your life. I think it is important to have the spending planned out. It is not a piggy bank. You need to carefully plan and use a reverse mortgage.
No. Prepaid cards are not credit products and therefore wont appear on your credit report. If you are looking to build credit consider a secured credit card which is like the prepaid but reports to the bureaus. Just note that with a secured credit card you have to pay on time even though they have a deposit.
It makes no difference. As a sole proprietor, business credit cards are written against your personal credit.
I guess you didn't click the see savings details button
You can always just call and ask. Some lenders will do an inquiry others won't. Just ask before you request the increase.
You probably have a young credit history (less than 10 years) but with a 758 you probably pay all your bills on time. Just means you need to wait it out a few more years.
