Was about 75% certain I'd get approved for this card.  Currently have a few accounts with other credit providers (2 Visa, 1 gas card) with lower limits.  Fully employed with verifiable income (disclosed) of $125,000.  Actually have a higher joint income but only included what income I actually use to repay my debts.

Rent of $2200 / month disclosed on my app.  9+ months with current employer and 1+ year at current residence.  No car note (paid off with Chase 1.5 years ago), student loans outstanding of $15000, and a misc. loan of $4000 I'll be paying off in the next couple of months.  A few other student loans and old accounts already paid off.

Had 0 inquiries prior to this (rarely apply for credit) and 0 lates that I'm aware of.  And my prior outstanding credit card balances / limits are roughly $400 / $6000.   Have 1 judgement reported on my credit in the past 3 years according to CL.  Believe this was for an unpaid tax bill I subsequently paid.

Note that Chase is also my bank, which was required to qualify for the full bonus offer, which is what finally pushed me over the edge to apply.  The points are the mashed potatoes, and the $200 cash back after spending $500 in the first 3 months is the gravy.  I've been wanting a points card for a while (don't have one) and had been comparing Capital One, Citi, 2 airline cards (United and Southwest) which are constantly berating me to apply.  Chase Freedom was the only one I applied for and happy I got approved.  Will post my further experiences later.

Just got approved

Just applied for this card with a CL of $1500. Easy application process. Recent college grad with student loans and quite a few credit cards to my name. My FICO score is around 660. Wish I had a higher limit but I am excited for the cash back bonus.

I really like my chase freedom. The rewards program is solid (especially when the 5% gas is in play) and is quite a bit simpler than amex in my experience. I also have an awesome purchase apr on this card (7.24%), so it is a solid card when I've needed to run a balance. Nice CL as well, at 14k, still higher than any other card I have/have had. Easy-to-use online/mobile interfaces. Good product that I will continue to use, although I feel like eventually they will jack the APR on me.

This is my first review of a real Credit Card on the site. Last July I discovered the site and found out I had a pretty bad Score of 580. I started with a a Capital One/BOA Secured Card and a limit of $300 on both. This weekend I applied for this card and was approved with score of 645. I was also approved for the Cap One Rewards card with a nice starting balance. :) I have no negatives at all on my report, I recently paid a vehicle off as well which bumped it up. I had some really bad credit card history from college for the last 10 years, nice to finally start rebuilding.
