Best for bonus-category cash back: TD Cash Credit Card

Here’s why: The TD Cash Credit Card offers 3% cash back on dining purchases and 2% cash back on grocery store purchases. You can also earn 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases.

What’s even better is that the card has no annual fee and offers 15,000 bonus points after you spend $500 within 90 days of opening your account. And those bonus points are worth $150, redeemable for cash back, gift cards, merchandise or travel.

While the TD Cash Credit Card is the best TD Bank credit card for cash back, there are other credit cards that offer even-more-lucrative cash back bonus categoriesand many don’t charge an annual fee either.

Best for travel rewards: TD First ClassSM Visa Signature® Credit Card

Here’s why: If you spend a significant amount of money on travel, the TD First ClassSM Visa Signature® Credit Card could be just what you need.

This card offers three First Class miles per $1 on dining and travel purchases, which include flights, hotels, car rentals and cruises. The card also offers one mile per $1 on all other purchases and 25,000 bonus miles when you spend $3,000 within the first six billing cycles after the account opens.

This card can be a good option, but only if you spend heavily on dining or travel. You’d have to spend almost $2,967 per year on dining or travel purchases to offset the $89 annual fee (which is waived the first year).

Even if you do spend a ton of money on dining and travel, there are other credit cards out there with travel rewards and no annual fee — and some have better sign-up bonuses, too.

Best for business cash back: TD Business Solutions Credit Card

Here’s why: The TD Business Solutions Credit Card offers decent cash back on categories that many businesses regularly spend money in.

This card offers 3% cash back on purchases for phone, internet and cable services, 2% cash back on dining and gas station purchases, and 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases.

You can also earn a $300 sign-up bonus when you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases within the first 90 days of opening your account. You have the option to redeem your points for cash back, gift cards, merchandise or travel.

This card’s rewards-earning structure and sign-up bonus are decent for a business credit card with no annual fee. That said, you can likely find other business credit cards that offer a bigger sign-up bonus or higher rewards earning rate than this card offers.

Best for building credit: TD Cash Secured Credit Card

Here’s why: If you have less-than-perfect credit, the TD Cash Secured Credit Card can help you build your credit if you use it responsibly, like by making on-time payments and paying your balance in full each month.

The TD Cash Secured Credit Card also offers cash back. You can earn 1% cash back on eligible purchases — no small perk for a secured credit card.

Like many secured credit cards though, the TD Cash Secured Credit Card charges an annual fee ($29) and requires a security deposit. The amount you’ll need to deposit will be equal to the amount of your approved credit limit, which can range from $300 to $5,000. But if you look hard enough, you may be able to find some secured credit cards with no annual fee from other issuers.

How we picked these cards

To pick our categories for the best TD Bank credit cards, we considered the types of major-rewards credit cards that many other banks offer, including bonus category cash back, travel rewards and everyday cash back. We also thought of other common credit card uses the average consumer may need, including business credit cards and cards for rebuilding credit.

To find the best TD Bank credit cards in each category, we looked at every credit card TD Bank currently offers. After we reviewed TD Bank’s credit card offerings, we compared its credit cards against each of the categories above and picked the top card for each category.
