....with the lowest APR at 13.9%, that I can save over $1100.
How can that be when all my cards are currently at 10% & under? Sounds like a paid advertisement to me, since there's no data of mine for them to base their savings on.

It's not accurate, but they do have data on you. This site will give you an estimate, or round about, what your credit score is based on TransUnion. Also, keep in mind that you need to check here when you know a report is being posted to TransUnion. You find out by knowing which is the billing cycle and which day or round about time they actually submit your data to the credit bureaus. When you know that, you can check your credit report at those dates/times and you'll see your score update.

I actually have a 3 in 1 report that I subscribe to and can (and do) check dily. I always pay before the statement cut date, which is when 99% of CCC's report to the 3 bureaus. As far as Cap 1 goes, or any other card with those APR's listed as lowest, I'd never apply. I've earned far better than 13. something or other. I'm biding my time then apping with Navy Fed. Their current apr for BT's is 5.99 for 1 year with no BT fee. You can't find a better deal anywhere! But they pull Equifax, so I'm waiting for thaty FICO to go up a little bit more.

Interest rates can be 25%. Just more than the minimum or simply pay the whole amount off within the 30 days and you don't pay the 25% interest. If you pay the minimum every month on your bills, then I can see looking for a card with low apr, but if you pay them off fast, it doesn't matter what the apr is.

I think some of the calculations are based on the the rebate amount not the interest rates.

No...nothing about a rebate was mentioned. just a simple interest rate & saving over $1100. But that is impossible with no BT available & an int rate higher than anything I have. Esentially, it's a bogus claim.

Looks like the calculations are based on the average APR of the card. You can adjust your specific APR to change the calculations.

Update....I've apped for Navy Fed. $25k limit, 9.5 apr. No BT fee & 1.9 apr on BT's. Beat THAT Crap one!
