my credit shows in "good" standing, yet i've had 6 hits. when i first talked to someone about getting a loan, i was told right then my credit was excellent. now it shows "good". why does your score go down when someone checks it?

Cause credit inquries are like asking for money. If you ask person for money you are probably a safe better. If you later find out that person asked 6 people for money, them you are probably a bit more risky than originally thought.
