why did my credit score drop seven points

my credit score has dropped seven points and i do not know why. I pay off my bills on time .

There can be many reasons a score drops as there are over 250 factors that are taken into account.  Pull your free report from annualcreditreport.com and see if there has been any changes in your credit history recently.  A hard inquiry usually drops a score about 5-7 points.  Have you applid for anything recently?

My score dropped abou 10 points when my balances increase from $3K to $12K due to work charges.
