Are you saying one dealership put 8 hard inquiries on your report? Did you buy a car there? If the answer is yes to the first question I would personally call the dealership and ask why this was necessary. I would most definately dispute the 7 needless ones. If this is some sort of retaliatory act for not buying (my daughter went to a dealership where complete craziness went on) a complaint to the attorney general in your state would be in order. Most times they can be done online.

this same thing happen to me and my girlfriend, we applied for ford credit were denied they sent our application into 7 other places... it wont let me dispute these inquiries
