i need to know if i was a victim of identity theft on my taxes
i was asked for a copy of my tax return for 2010. i did not file taxes because i do not work. financial aid at the college i was registering for asked me. is it possible to check from here?

Annualcreditreport.com and pull your free three major credit bueau reports ( Equifax, Experian and Transunion ). Check accounts, balances, personal information etc. for any mistakes . Dispute mistakes by phone, online or by mail to the perspective credit bureau. Good Luck.

call the irs and request wour w2s for the last few years if their any jobs that you didnt work at you need to let the irs know so they dont come after you for taxes owed that arnt yours the sooner you do this the better if someone did use your ssn to get a job it would not know and it would not be on our credit report it happened to me they said i owed 20000 in taxes but it turned out that 3 people used my ssn for jobs
