Explain old debt? Is that past due or charged off debt? When was it charged off?

get you total credit report...from all 3 credit bueraus and make sure you know where its at

Negative items can only be on your credit report for 7 years. What date was it first reported to the credit burea? If it is over 7 years it has to be removed excluding student loans, tax liens and bankruptcy.
