Credit score dropped by 48 points over 1 inquiry?!?
Good question? +1 Vote for this

My score dropped 48 points! I check my score every day and my inquiries went up one, which I did authorize. Is this typical?? I've never taken this big of a hit before for something this simple.

Post this over in Suzie's site however it was probably due to a hard pull (mortgage) and there is a new company that is making huge hits.

Check to see if anything else has changed. Maybe an old account hit its 7-year mark and stopped reporting?

Sorry, I need to clarify. I only have 4 credit cards, 19 years old, a couple days ago I applied for the discoverore card. Credit karma did bot show anything new but the inquiry.
