I recently sold a property as a short sale that was a year behind on payments. How long before my credit shows improvement?

Good question. I am in the process of a short sale. Live in Florida. No help from banks. It is a mess in this state!

I agree good questions. I am currently going through the process of a short sale and am experiencing the credit consequences behind it.
The process has been going on for almost a year and my credit score has dropped at 80 to 100 points. Additionally, creditors either call or send a letter saying they are going to cancel the card(s). It is nerve wrecking just going through the process but I believe this is a good way to move forward if the short sale is approved by the bank.
