Can I buy a house after a foreclosure?
Good question? +2 Vote for this

We lost our house a year ago and we have been leasing a house ever since. We have not been late on our rent at all. The rental company has offered to let us buy this house in the next year or so. Will we be able to buy it after the foreclosure?

A bank will probably not give you a loan.  That doesn't mean you can't buy a house though...just means you will have a tough time getting a mortgage.  The only way to find out is to try.  Go into a few banks and try to get pre-approved and see what happens.

Yes you can buy a home after a foreclosure. But, you have to wait 3 years from the time the bank sold your home, not from when you left it.
