Best way to improve credit score
Good question? +1 Vote for this

What are the best ways to improve one's credit score? I have almost no credit history but my credit score is only 666 because i had two store credit cards that i closed after only 8 months or so. I made all the payments on-time and have no debt, but my score is low because i only have the 3 store credit cards that i closed after a short time. To improve my score, would it make sense to open up a few store credit cards or to open up a few credit cards (like a capital one or chase freedom card).

the best thing to do is have a continuous credit like. For example not closing any credit cards and keeping them in good standing. I understand its scary and you might be afraid that you'll go in to debt but just use it for every day purchases like groceries and such but make sure you have the money in your bank to pay it off at the end of the month. You could also open a savings account specifically for the money you want to use to pay on the credit that way it will be save and you have a chance to grow your income. I hoped this helped, I'm not an expert but I had a score of 600 and thats how i went about it.

its great you paid off everything each month! its helps a lot. you need to hope a line of credit now and keep it for a long period of time. Maybe a discover credit card.. I would recommend an American Express but they are very hard to get will little or no credit history. mostly you need to have over 2 years of established credit ..with atleast one insitution.   good luck
