Usually not that much. The effect falls off gradually over time. There is nothing magical about 10 years.

Usually when a BK falls off your score should go up, how high depends on what you have been doing since your discharge. If you rebuilt your credit and paid on time when that BK falls off your score should go up. Their are way too many variables that are involved to compute exactly how many points. A better place to ask this question is in the forums at this website...http://www.creditinfocenter.com/ Yes it is 100 percent free.

honestly if your bankruptcy is already 10 years old and you've already reestablished credit. your score wont go up but your approval rate will. after 7 years it no longer effects your fico score but will remain on your record. some companies just will not lend to someone with a bankruptcy. my moms just is about to drop off and shes at 800+
