Credit Karma shows I have a score of 616. I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy in April of 2010. What unsecured credit card should I apply for to start rebuilding my credit? Are there any out there that I would qualify for? I don't want to apply unless I know I can get approved.

For unsecured, Orchard Bank is the best place to start. But, you should get a second card, as well, and a secured card may be necessary for that.

I got Orchard during Chapter 7, (6/10 discharge)...the credit limit is only $1,000 and they arent offering increases but it is a fine card, $39 annual fee and no rip off charges. I havent had luck with others because the lenders won't usually offer you credit if you included them in the bankruptcy, and I included most of the majors.
