Discover is absoulutely the best credit network on this planet. Both my parents have had a discover card since 1985, and my brother since early 2000's. They have all loved the card. I'll be honest, I nearly gave up on getting one. It is most definitely not the easiest card to get... I must have spent 5 hard credit inquires in trying to get it. I finally was approved with a CK score of roughly 745 and a limit of $1,500. The cash back program is the best. The customer service is 100% American and you will always be transfered to someone within the US. The online banking tools are great! I have an American Express card as well, and Discover completely wins. I absoutely love this card. Discover is the best.

P.s. my credit score was 670, 6 months ago, now I am at 725

They told me that further processing was needed when I applied. I had a 670ish? credit score then. 5-7 days later my card showed up in the mail. It seems they tend to say "further processing" to many applicants...

Pretty cool card so far... Approved with credit score of 670 with $500 limit. Activation was easy, no pestering about signing up for the credit protection at all! I'll be writing back soon with more how I feel about this card but as of now, all +'s!
