with debit cards you use your own money, not borrowing money from creditors with the intent of paying them back.

you have to pay ir or dispute it with the credit agencies, or pay it. over time of paying on time it will go up.

shouldnt have open'd them in your name for someone else. Its not the lenders fault that you personal life didnt go right. consider going ofter your spouse in court and having him/her pay them.

@mudfoot --- collections for credit cards and other signed agreements stay on a credit report for 7 years, unless your states statue of limitations say other wise.

they make money off of you either way if you pay in full or not. its called "swipe" fees.....

its not credit karma, you have 2 cards that are maxed out... they see you as not able to pay them back. pay off ur credit cards and try again....
